Nortd Fork Crossing Restaurant in Lyons

Stopped in on way home from weekend camping trip for holiday weekend. Saw special on the board was a pulled pork sandwich [freaking amazing] it had a name but I can not recall. Green bean fries where the best my girlfriend had ever had. Great overall experience 4 out of 5 due to under staff waitress and long wait for food. But honestly if she wasn't so nice and food so good I would have been more frustrates about the wait. Just ate my other half of sandwich and still was tasty ")

The food and the atmosphere are worth going there for.

I ordered the farmers Burger it was so so the fries not-so-great over-cooked atmosphere is amazing service was amazing I think in time this will be an excellent restaurant prices are a little high

Clean establishment and food wasn't pre packaged, mass supplied...you could taste the quality.

It is good. Quiet and cozy. Food is fresh and tasty, salads are awesome.

North Fork Crossings Restaurant has great food but it seemed really expensive for what you got. Even simple foods such as a burger costs way more than I'm used to but I figure that they probably have to charge that much just to stay in business given the location.

Amazing food, lots of vegetarian options, awesome service. My family of 10 goes all of the time and we all have had such a pleasant time! We are very fond of this restaurant.

Food is yummy, portions are very big. Waitress is very nice and welcoming :)

This place is the best in the Santiam Canyon, hands down. Great food. Wonderful variety of menu options. Good selection of beer and spirits. Pizza and burger options are interesting and delicious. Right off the highway with ample parking. We love this place!

Food is ok, menu is limited. They've been doing this for a while now, and dinner is the same time every night, so don't know why they are so understaffed all the time. Forget about calling in an order to go - they either let it ring off the hook or take it off the hook. If you have to eat here, don't do it at peak times. Poorly managed.

The food is really good. They seem to be understaffed much of the time. Wine options are inconsistent and very limited.

It wasn't very good at all. We had the pizza and I've had the pizza here once before and it was good, this time is wasn't good it was over done hard and greasy. When we checked out we told the guy and it was like he didn't care no apology or anything to compensate for it. On the way out another person was brining a to go pizza back. They are quick to take our order but once we got our food we never saw the waitress again., didn't even bring our check to us.

Best pizza and burgers for fifty miles

They only serve their burgers well done. I asked for a medium rare and they wouldn't make one for me. Also only have IPA's on tap. Decent food for a decent price but not that good of food or beer selection.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere, and tasty food!

The food is good, if not a little on the expensive side for the area. Great place to grab a bite while driving along highway 22. They also seemed to have a decent selection of beers on tap. Would definitely stop in again on the way through.

Great local place for me, but I recommend stopping on your way up the river for lunch or dinner!

Excellent food sources from local sources. Proper cheese, wonderful french fries, and hand-pressed burgers. A must-stop whenever we're in the area.

DELICIOUS SURPRISE!!!We on our way towards the pass, starving and last minute saw this place and pulled in for a bite to eat. Ended up being one of our favorite restaurants now! Great prices, everything is made from scratch it seems like(sauces, French fries,au jus), great breads, and our server was super friendly and talented, I think she was the only waitress there! We ordered the chipotle turkey bacon sandwich and the French dip. Both SO good! It was a great surprise going in spur of the moment! We'll be back for sure!!!

Staff is very nice! Been here probably 20 times since opening. Experience changes often, sometimes very under staffed like tonight just one waitress and long waits. Meals are usually good but as a returning customer the menu is very limited. My recommendation would be more help and a larger selection to be more successful.

Amazing burgers! Will be going again! Also ordered fried stuffed mushrooms, they had sausage and some other amazing stuff in them!! Oh and the home cut fries were amazing. Great service to boot. Give them a shot it's worth the stop!

I love this place! The food is delicious and the staff is very kind. We eat here almost every time we go to North Fork Lake. Bring your family, I am sure you will love it too.

If you are looking for great tasting American comfort food with a unique flair, this is a great place to stop. I had the meatloaf sandwich (on special today, not on regular menu), from which ketchup was notably and pleasantly absent. My wife got the chicken pesto pasta, which was also delicious, and the fried chicken strips we got for our toddler were tender and well seasoned.

Fab clam chowder made from scratch. Friendly service, clean - will definitely come back. The location was the former long-lived Swiss Village restaurant but has been given new life in a really great way. The smaller half of the establishment is a lounge (21 & over) which we didn't have time to check out. The menu had a nice variety including interesting salads, pizza and even hand-made tater-tots and other nice appetizers plus much more... Honestly, check this spot out - it was/is a welcome surprise. (Hmmm... weekend breakfasts might be a wonderful addition... just an idea.)

Good menu. The food is well made and creative. Service is slow, not a place for the impatient.

Pros: They have edible food. My Santa Fe sandwich wasn't bad. It was average with little unique flavoring to it. They also have a waitstaff that seemed relatively attentive. Cons: My partner didn't like that her burger was completely scorched, flavorless and dry within. She brought it to their attention and they still tried to charge us 50% of its cost which, in the end, was omitted from the bill. If the 2 stars wasn't obvious, I wasn't too impressed overall. They were candid about the fact that they are bound by health code (for what reason I'll never know) to thoroughly cook all their beef. Its just a shame that "local beef" be so poorly presented and our experience so adulterated by below average customer service especially when the place has the potential for such charm.

I was skeptical but went inside to a clean and comfortable environment. The staff was awesome. Absolutely delicious food and great service!!!!! I will be back. Best French dip... 10 STARS!

Food was good. We didn't mind the wait because we'd been warned they were extremely busy. But our waiter acted like he was put out that we'd come. He worked well and fast, but how long does it take to say, "welcome," or "good afternoon?" We went here because of the crowds at Poppa Al's and Giovanni's. Next time I think we'll just stay in Mill City and be easy a little later. Your other servers seen quite friendly and accommodating.

The most amazing hamburgers I have ever had, friendly service and the best fries around!!! And the mozzarella sticks are really good! I love The owners, jake is a very funny guy!

I have yet to complain about the food! However last time we were seated outside due to having a group of 5 and a carseat at the picnic table. It was a hot day and we were in the shade, so that was great. I will say i didnt like how we had to go containers for our food, styrafoam cups for drinks and we werent advised that we couldnt drink beer outside (we were all planning on getting a beer or two). I recommend to possibly set the outdoor customers like they were inside, or let them know ahead of time. Thanks!

Went there for breakfast Saturday morning.. After ordering it took 45 min to get breakfast, they got the order incorrect and the menu selection was very limited.. Went there 3 weeks later, ordered burger, fries and a drink. Fries were limp and greasy and grease tasted old.. I wont be returning or recommending this place . but in my opinion Your Country Kitchen restaurant in Lyons is still the best place.. Awesome breakfast and lunch. Good prices and lots of homestyle food.

Great food, made fresh, burgers are a 1/2 # with house cut fresh French Fries. Yum!!! The pizza menu looked terrific and they have a separate bar dining area. Guest Brewery nights!
